STACKED BOUTIQUE BOW
Today is Stacked Boutique Bow creation time!  These bows are just gorgeous when completed and can be done in a wide variety of ribbon styles and sizes!  They are also very versatile...they can be "cutied" up for little people and "sophisticated" up for the adults.

I think for now, byLAMDesigns will offer a couple bows in both categories.  But we won't be limited to just those 4 colors and styles.  I will offer a custom made selection if anyone would want that.

I'm hoping over the weekend to post more "NEW ITEMS" and "ALL THINGS BUYABLE."  We've slowed a little in the last 2 weeks with building up inventory due to learning new techniques!  I've explained this further in the "GROWTH OF A BUSINESS" tab, so check it out!!

Don't forget to check out all the pages of my blog....."HOME"  "GROWTH OF A BUSINESS"  "NEW ITEM"   "ALL THINGS BUYABLE" and "POSSIBILITIES AND OUTCOMES".  Just click on the tab across the page banner.

Also, comments are welcomed here!  Encouragement, new ideas, thoughts, prayers, etc. can be uplifting to the small business owner.

One last thing......sign up to get automatic notifications through your email when I update my blog.  Just enter your email address in the tab "Follow By Email" and hit submit!  That's all there is to it.  You will then get an email as new posts are published on byLAMDesigns' blog!

Thanks to all of you who take the time to read and be a part of our small business venture!

SLEEVELESS SHELL
I have had lots of requests for shells.  In UPC circles, shells are the backbone of a girls wardrobe.  So, we're gonna offer several shells from the plain to the ruffled....we're gonna offer it all.

Today I thought I'd work on a shell modification.  Wondering what I'm babbling about?  Well I have heard several complaints about shells from different woman.  The top 2 complaints are:  neckline is too low and the length is too short.  Any shell design can be modified to meet these needs....you just have to make sure that when you raise the neckline you don't change the way the shell hangs so that it remains comfortable to wear.  Length is a piece of cake to modify....'nuff said!

I am still debating the material.  Several come to mind as most comfortable and versatile but I'm still working out the details.

So work out pattern modifications today and then buy material and then BOOM.....available for sale!!  Mark your calendars and "to do" lists!  byLAMDesigns will have shells available for sale soon...keep watching!

KORKER BOW

Today is Korker Bow time!  I've learned the skill of making korker bows.  I was a little surprised to learn that you actually have to bake the ribbon!  I've baked a lot of things in my time, some not even food!  You know, the Christmas Decorations, hand print plaques, etc. but who'da thought I'd have to bake ribbon!

As with all crafts, there's do's and don'ts to get the right amount of curl without ruining the ribbon.  It took a few tries, but I was better at this than I thought I would be!   These bows are so colorful and just cute!  There's a lot of ways to use them in the bow designs so I'm excited to try my hand at it!

So....long story short...watch for the completed Korker Bows to show up in the "All Things Buyable" tab.  Start saving now so you can buy lots of byLAM Designs Korker Bows in several sizes and colors!

SCRUNCHIES
Today I am working on making scrunchies.  They're very versatile, look great, and don't damage your hair.  The summer dress project has been put on hold temporarily as our hair accessories are due out the first few days of next week and I don't have enough of them made!  So...time to stop the clothing items and work on the hair items!

We will be selling scrunchies (of all design...everyday, fancy, out of the ordinary, etc!) along with rosette items (head bands, ribbon, and clips), maybe some feather items and a few other surprises thrown in!

Don't miss out....keep checking back with us next week as new items will be posted every few days!  Gonna be a good week for byLAM Designs!

THE ART OF ROSETTE MAKING

Today I am making rosettes for the new summer dress project.  I've been practicing making rosettes with ribbon.  YouTube has a lot of different "how to" videos to watch that were really helpful in learning this art.  And the rosettes, well just let me say, "Adorable!!"

I have pinned a rosette onto the neckline of the summer dress project to see if I like it.  And....I do!  It gives the simple dress just a little more class, I think.  As you learn how I roll, you will realize that I never stick to a specific pattern and, for the most part, add or take away from my original idea before the project is completed!  That's just how I roll!  I like to think of it as being "creative"....some would probably say, "Flighty or Short attention span!"  Either way, lots of good ideas have come from this way of creating!

As for the rosettes for the summer dress, well I haven't decided yet whether to go with rosettes the same color of the dress or solid black or white....so many decisions.....so much fun!  Guess you'll find out when I post finished photos of the summer dress (don't worry that's probably when I'll find out, too!!)

SUMMER DRESS PROJECT
Working on a new project today....a summer dress!  It's black and white (you know me...love slimming black!) with large flowers on it.  Its kind of a "muted" flower pattern...not some large "in your face" kind of flower!  Clear as mud, huh?!  It will be sleeveless, hit just below the knees and have a sash.  It's gonna be just gorgeous, comfortable and cute!  It will be available in several colors and sizes 8-22 for $40.  Save up now and be ready!
